Publication in AKYAS is free of charge. However, we have observed that an increasing number of submitted manuscripts do not comply with writing standards, including references, citations, writing mechanisms, and formatting. This situation requires editors to spend additional time addressing these issues and affects the overall quality of our journal. As our journal does not receive funding support, we will impose a fee on authors if they fail to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the required standards.

AKYAS: Multidisciplinary Research Journal provides immediate open access to its content. Our publisher, Yayasan Rashafa Andalas Nusantara, endorses the Open Access definition established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative:

Open access means the free availability of scholarly literature on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, index them, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the sole role of copyright in this domain, is to grant authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.

The mission of AKYAS: Multidisciplinary Research Journal is to support broader global knowledge exchange by making research published in this journal openly accessible to the public and reusable under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
